Frequently Asked Questions

At Havens Hope Ranch and Stables, we offer a variety of horseback riding lessons, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced riding lessons. We also offer specialized lessons in dressage, jumping, and trail riding.

We recommend wearing long pants, boots with a heel, and a comfortable shirt. It's also important to bring a helmet, which we can provide if needed.

We offer lessons for riders of all ages, but we typically recommend that children be at least 2 years old to start riding.

We offer group lessons for $55 per lesson. 

We offer private lessons for $75 per lesson. 

Group lessons are where we put you in the same group as those who are of equal stage of riding you are in, whether you are beginner, intermediate, or advanced. We also strive to put you within the same age range. 

Private lessons are a one on one with a coach. 

We offer both English and Western riding lessons, as well as jumping and dressage lessons.

Lessons are an hour long. We start at the beginning of the hour. 

We recommend taking at least two lessons per month. Although we have many who take a lesson weekly, or one a month.

Safety is our top priority at Havens Hope Ranch and Stables. We provide helmets for all riders and require them to be worn at all times during lessons. Our horses are also well-trained and regularly checked by a veterinarian to ensure their health and safety.
